UPHOLSTERY WORKSHOPS

Have you ever wanted learn how to transform an old piece of furniture? Or, perhaps, you’d like to enjoy a new skill with a friend? Maude and Stanley Upholstery classes teach you how to reupholster furniture from start to finish in a creative and supportive environment. 

 

Lindsey has over 25 years upholstery experience and has a passion for teaching. Learn how to upholster footstools and wingback chairs at our beginners reupholstery classes.

UPHOLSTERY FOR BEGINNERS - WINGBACK

Wingback upholstery course for beginners course takes place over eight evenings.

 

This course covers the entire reupholstery process from start to finish, as we teach you how to completely strip and reupholster the chair. At the end of the workshop programme, you will take away your very own completed reupholstered wing-back chair!

 

Included in the cost of the workshop is a tools, materials & refreshments. Bring a chair that you wish to transform and we’ll help you do the rest!

Fabric will be required on week three. Lindsey can help you with your search or you can buy your own. Fabric needs to be a minimum of 4m dependant on the pattern drop and the size of chair.

Join Lindsey for a beginners Footsool reupholstering class at the Galleria Burton Latimer. Learn how to reupholster a footstool from start to finish, and learn upholstery skills to use at home!

Price includes footstool, materials, foam, fleece, strapping & refreshments. All you will need to bring with you is the fabric of your choice.
